The IFComp 2025 games are now ready for judging! The best part? Anyone can be a judge; they just need to play and rate at least five games by October 15th.
All the IFComp 2025 games can be downloaded and played from the competition’s official website. Players can either download the games individually or download a .zip containing all the entries.
IFComp stands for Interactive Fiction Competition, and is one of the two largest competitions for interactive fiction/text-based games. The other competition is the Spring Thing (or Autumnal Jumble).
The Interactive Fiction Competition is held every year, welcoming all kinds of text-driven digital stories and games and is funded by community donations.
IFComp 2025 is the competition’s 31st year!
If you want to judge the IFComp 2025 entries, we recommend reading their official ‘rules for judges’. The judging period will last until October 15th, when all votes must be submitted by the end of the day.
If you’re interested in supporting the competition (and authors), they are still receiving donations for the prize fund. You can donate via PayPal here.
You can also check out a history of all past IFComp winners over on the official website, and download all previous entries.
