Independent developer, TearyHand Studio, and publisher Kodansha have announced the release of their new interactive fiction mystery title, ‘and Roger’, for PC (Steam) and the Nintendo Switch.
and Roger is an interactive novel that blends point-and-click gameplay and visual elements. It places you into the heart of a domestic mystery, as you experience the world through the eyes of a young girl.
The story begins when the young girl wakes up, and her father has seemingly vanished. Instead, she finds a stranger sleeping on the couch.
The stranger seemingly knows the girl and insists that she ‘takes her medicine’ (Stephen King, much?) Players will experience the story through the eyes of the young girl, as a series of interactive events unfold.
The and Roger game also features gorgeous hand-drawn visuals that complement the creepy, mysterious atmosphere. If you love interactive fiction titles such as The Stamp or Your House, this game is for you.
The game is available on Steam, with an introductory offer at 20% off ending August 7th. The title is also available on Nintendo Switch, and is a great addition to the console’s growing library of interactive fiction and visual novel titles.
