Decade is a narrative point-and-click adventure game where you’ll be sending children back into the past—ten years at a time—to learn how the world ended, and try to change it.
Decade is a hard game to describe, and that’s why it’s worth checking out. It’s a mix between narrative point-and-click adventure titles, interactive fiction, and FMV.
If you love indie experimental horror games, like The Stamp and Daemonologie, this is for you. The game follows four children, the only survivors of a disaster that ravages the planet and kills everyone else on Earth.
The kids manage to create a time machine, and you’re able to send three out of the four kids back in time every decade—to find out more about the disastrous metallic rain that ended the world and how to save everyone from it.

Decade has 20 FMV endings to explore
As you send the children back in time to investigate documents, technologies, and artefacts to understand history, they’ll also age.
As they age, the children and their abilities will change drastically. You’ll have to try and manage them, guiding them throughout the various possible futures.
Along with the 20 FMV endings to discover, the game also includes:
- A deep and complex narrative (Over 50k word script)
- 9 unlockable themes – each with its own soundtrack
- A unique and compelling gameplay mechanic
This game was made by Last Piscean, a solo indie developer. They started developing their title after losing their job. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, they still haven’t found a new one.
So, if you ever needed a better reason to buy a game—Go and support Last Piscean. The game is available on Steam and on sale until the 4th of June at a 20% discount.
If you love off-beat experimental horror, we also recommend checking out the typing game DEAD LETTER DEPT. It’s very corporate, Severance-esque horror, and worth checking out if you’re a fan of the genre.
